Derwentside College has an innovative approach to employer engagement, which has led to significant growth in our apprenticeship provision.
Based in Consett, County Durham, we are a large and successful apprenticeship provider with learners located in the North East and Tees Valley, Yorkshire and Humberside, the East Midlands, the North West and Greater London.
The 2017-18 FE Choices Learner Satisfaction Survey confirms us as the NUMBER ONE Further Education College in the North East for learner satisfaction and in that year, we worked with over 1,000 employers and 5,000 apprentices, delivering across 81 different apprenticeships. The College's apprenticeship offer continues to grow in-line with client demand.
