Training provider overview
The Academy works in partnership with employers, apprentices and full time students across Yorkshire with academies in Malton and Scarborough. Since 1999 The Academy has delivered excellent training for the hairdressing, barbering and beauty therapy industry. Graded outstanding in all areas (Ofsted. Dec, 2014).
City & Guilds Level 2 Apprenticeships in Barbering, Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy. Level 3 Apprenticeships in Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy. Apprentices may be required to work towards Level 2 Functional Skills in English and/or maths. Applicants who want an apprenticeship may be referred to the Traineeship initially to gain work experience and employability skills alongside Functional Skills.
